Cooperation with Hadassah University Hospital in Oncology sector

The partnership agreement between the German Oncology Center in Limassol and Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem through its representative in Cyprus, iMER Medical Services Ltd, is extremely significant for Oncology sector in Cyprus and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

The agreement that was signed recently, stipulates cooperation in the fields of research and innovation, exchange of specialised scientists and best practices, education and training, as well as medical tourism.

Deputy C.E.O and Marketing & Communications Manager of iMER Medical Services, Marianna Fortoma, stressed that “the sole purpose of this important strategic partnership is to provide oncology patients with comprehensive treatment offered by some of the field’s most highly-qualified scientists, who are accompanied by highly-trained nursing and paramedical personnel, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology”. Mrs. Fortoma added that it is a particular honour for iMER to cooperate with distinguished professor of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Nicolaos Zamboglou, who has been awarded by the Academy of Athens for his valuable contribution to HDR-brachytherapy (Interventional Radiology).
